He is a feature speaker across Canada. His “Agricultural Commodity Outlooks” are alive, practical and entertaining, from a farmer’s perspective. In August 2012, he presented “The New Volatility, Corn, Soybean and Wheat Outlook for 2013″ for Farm Credit Canada across southern Ontario. In January and February 2013, he presented ” Land Price Trends, Cause and Effect, The Road Ahead” for FCC across southern Ontario. In January 2013 he lectured at United International University in Dhaka, Bangladesh on linking Global Agricultural Markets. In February 2013 he spoke on grain market volatility in Charlottetown PEI, at the PEI Agri-Insight Conference. In January 2011 he was a feature speaker at the 2011 Agricultural Service Board Conference “Agriculture On the Horizon” in Edmonton Alberta. He created “Agriculture for Realtors”, a continuing education course directed toward Ontario Realtors.
Philip’s weekly column “Under the Agridome” for DTN and Today’s Farmer, is in its 27th year of publication. He also writes and podcasts “Market Trends”, a monthly analysis of grain prices for the Grain Farmers of Ontario. He is a regular contributor to Heritage Iron Magazine of Greenville, Illinois.
