Philip’s column “Under the Agridome” is in its 23rd year of publication. It can be read in “Today’s Farmer” and across Canada and the United States on DTN AgDayta. He also writes and podcasts “Market Trends”, a monthly analysis of corn prices for the Ontario Corn Producers’ Association. He also reviews farm machinery in the monthly Machinery Guide section of Country Guide magazine. Starting in 2008, Philip has been a regular contributor to Heritage Iron Magazine of Nokomis, Illinois, which focuses on Farm Equipment from the 1960-1985 era. He broadcast a weekly radio commentary for the CFCO Noon Farm Show in Chatham Ontario from 1997 to 2009. In 2006 he co-chaired the 10,000 person Ottawa Solidarity Farm Rally on Parliament Hill. Philip has been a feature speaker at numerous events over the last several years. In January 2009 he lectured at United International University in Dhaka, Bangladesh on linking Global Agricultural Markets. In March 2008 he presented his 2008 “Commodity Outlook” for Dupont at the Western Fair Farm Show in London Ontario. In December 2007 he was the feature speaker for the “In Service Training” of the Association of Alberta Agriculture Fieldmen in Grande Prairie Alberta. In January 2007 he gave the “Commodity Outlook” at the South West Agricultural Conference at the Ridgetown Campus of the University of Guelph. In February 2006 he presented with Dr. A.K Enamul Haque at the University of Windsor on the topic of “Terrorism, Politics and Poverty”.
