South West Ag Conference, Courtland, Elgin and More

In the coming weeks I’ll be speaking six different times. For some of you that might mean six different places you’d like to avoid. However, if you are at one of those venues take time to make yourself known to me. Unless you step up and say hi, I’ll have no idea you read my column or listen on the radio.
On January 3rd I’ll be giving the “commodity outlook” at the South West Agricultural Conference at the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus. I’ll be speaking at 11:00a.m. and 3:10 p.m. on January 3rd and January 4th.
In the evening of January 3rd I’ll be in Courtland, Ontario speaking at Hyland growers meeting. The topic for that night will be all about the big picture I see ahead for Ontario agriculture. I’ll be speaking about futures markets, Ontario basis levels, bio-fuels and how they will affect Canadian agricultural policy.
The following week on January 9th I’ll be in Elgin Country speaking at a joint meeting of the corn, soybean and wheat producers in Shedden.
Everything else continues on the web site. Under the Agridome continues on a one week delay. East West will be chiming in this week. And how about this weather? Will winter ever come?
